Program Manager II, Amazon NOW Launch

Are you excited about building programs that make a real difference for customers? Do you thrive when coordinating across teams, solving complex problems, and turning ambiguity into clear action plans? As a Program Manager II at Amazon, you will own and drive programs that directly impact how we deliver for our customers. You will work across functions to align priorities, remove obstacles, and ensure the right outcomes at the right time. This role offers the opportunity to shape program strategy, define success metrics, and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders — all while growing your skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end program delivery for cross-functional initiatives, including defining scope, setting milestones, tracking progress, and proactively mitigating risks to keep efforts on schedule.
• Partner with stakeholders across teams to align on priorities, secure resources, and drive timely decisions that move programs forward.
• Identify and define key performance indicators, build reporting mechanisms, and use data to evaluate program health and recommend improvements.
• Apply process improvement methodologies to streamline workflows, increase team productivity, and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes clearly to audiences ranging from team members to senior leadership, ensuring alignment and transparency.

A day in the life
You might start your morning reviewing program dashboards and preparing updates for a stakeholder review. Mid-morning, you join a working session with partner teams to resolve an open dependency and agree on next steps. After lunch, you analyze data to assess whether a recent process change is delivering the expected results, then draft a brief narrative summarizing your findings. Later, you connect with a teammate to share feedback on a project plan they are developing, helping them refine their approach before a leadership review.

About the team
Our team is focused on delivering programs that improve the experience for our customers and the effectiveness of the teams we support. We value collaboration, clear communication, and a willingness to roll up our sleeves to get things done. We are building scalable mechanisms and continuously looking for ways to simplify and improve. If you are motivated by meaningful impact, enjoy working with people across disciplines, and want to grow as a program leader, we would love to hear from you.
