Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Solid understanding of the mining lifecycle: exploration, feasibility, permitting, construction, operations
- 6+ years progressive mining-industry experience, incl. 3-5 years managing complex programs or multi-project portfolios
- Experience working with government authorities, regulators, and local communities, ideally in Latin America
- Track record managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams in greenfield or brownfield mining environments
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, and risk-management capabilities
- Proficiency in program management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and reporting platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication in Spanish and English
- Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and resilience in complex, high-visibility environments
Nice to have
- Postgraduate qualification in Project/Program Management, Business, or related field
- Program/project management certification (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Prior experience operating in Central America
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks, social performance standards (IFC PS, ICMM), and community development programs
