Project Accounting Administrative Assistant I

Role Overview:

Provides project financial and administrative support related to project accounting
activities within a Sector. Performs clerical and financial support functions and assists
Project Accountants and Project Managers with maintaining accurate project records and
supporting invoicing processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Associate’s or higher-level degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,

or related field preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft O ice Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

• Proficiency with Adobe products, database management software, and internet

based tools required.

• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external

stakeholders required.

• Ability to work e ectively with all levels of management, clients, and sta required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

• Ability to anticipate and respond to internal and external client needs required.

• Ability to perform self-directed tasks required.

• Strong conflict resolution skills required.

• Excellent attention to detail required.

• Above-average analytical skills required.

• Working knowledge of MIS, accounting, and financial systems required.

• Ability to prioritize tasks by assessing urgency and importance required.

• Ability to make clear and timely decisions required.

• 4 years of related experience preferred.

• Experience working with Dynamics preferred.

• Experience supporting project accounting or financial operations preferred.

• Experience working in professional services environments preferred.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and project-based workflows preferred.

What You’ll Be Working On:

Firm-Wide / Project Financial Support

• Performs high-level general clerical duties in support of project accounting and

financial operations.

• Completes electronic file transfers and manages project-related documentation.

• Compiles invoice package backup documentation, including timesheets and

expense reports.

• Reviews, validates, and monitors subconsultant invoices and payments.
