Full description
Exo Group, LLC has been protecting public infrastructure across the U.S. since 2009. Without consistent maintenance and quality assurance, critical assets face a growing risk of failure over time. Exo delivers engineering, inspection, and remediation services for lighting poles, transmission towers, and other infrastructure exposed to ongoing wear from usage, aging, and environmental conditions.
With deep expertise in vertical infrastructure, Exo builds on years of engineering design and fabrication experience across utilities, telecom, transportation, and retail sectors. This foundation supports a comprehensive inspection and asset management approach that addresses both new installations and aging structures requiring immediate attention.
Recognizing that full replacement is often impractical due to cost and safety constraints,
Exo developed its “Ex-Tend” approach to manage assets throughout their entire life cycle. From initial quality assurance to ongoing inspection and targeted repairs, this method is designed to extend service life and improve reliability. Supported by data-driven insights, Exo helps clients monitor asset conditions and make informed, strategic decisions.
At Exo, engineering isn’t just a job — it’s a craft we love, a team we trust, and a place where great people come to do the best work of their careers. We’re a small, high-performance engineering team built on clarity, quality, and deep expertise. That size is our advantage: we move fast, stay flexible, and keep our focus exactly where it belongs — on our people, our projects, and our clients.
We’re a team of passionate engineers who genuinely enjoy the work and enjoy working together. You’ll find experts who freely share knowledge and leaders who backstop the team. We care about expertise, we care about growth, and we care about delivering outcomes that genuinely matter — for our clients and for each other. And yes — we have fun doing it.
This role is part of Exo’s Electrical Studies & Systems group, where we perform system studies, modeling, and analysis that guide critical project decisions. The Project Engineer will work on the analytical backbone of power-delivery projects and help clients understand how their systems behave.
The Project Engineer will independently lead project design and advanced analysis, mentor less experienced staff, and lead teams and projects. This role will collaborate with clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders; coordinate scope, schedule, and budget with project management; and lead business development and proposal efforts. This role requires competency in intermediate skills, continued development of advanced skills, typically 6–20 years of experience, and PE licensure.
If you want to join a place where performance is recognized, growth is supported, and the personal impact is felt immediately, you’ll fit right in. This role will tackle challenging power-delivery projects, collaborate with people who love this industry, and contribute to a company that’s shaping it. We’re building something special — nimble, ambitious, fair, and full of good energy — and we’re looking for people who want to help shape what comes next.
