Project Manager, Bogotá

Are you passionate about business development, international growth and client advisory? Do you have experience leading consulting projects and driving commercial success in Colombia? We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia.

As Project Manager at Business Sweden, you will play a key role in helping Swedish and international companies capture growth opportunities across Colombia and Latin America. You will combine strategic advisory work with hands-on project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and business development.

In this role, you will lead complex consulting and trade promotion projects, develop client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to Business Sweden's continued growth in the region. You will work closely with clients, public and private stakeholders, as well as colleagues across Latin America and our global network.

The role includes both strategic, tactical and operational responsibilities such as:

• Leading and delivering market expansion, business development, and advisory projects across Colombia and Latin America.

• Managing multi-stakeholder projects involving clients, government agencies, industry associations, NGOs, and ecosystem partners.

• Driving business development activities, including client dialogue, opportunity identification, proposal development, and sales conversion.

• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients by analysing market opportunities, stakeholder landscapes, and industry developments.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key public and private sector stakeholders.

• Planning and executing government-financed programmes supporting sustainable business growth and development cooperation.

• Collaborating with Swedish public agencies, embassies, development finance institutions, and multilateral organisations.

• Leading and coaching project teams while supporting resource planning and team development.

• Contributing to regional initiatives and identifying opportunities for cross-market collaboration across Latin America.

• Supporting the continuous development of Business Sweden's regional service offerings, methodologies, and market insights.

Business Sweden has been assigned the task of strengthening synergies between trade and development cooperation. As part of this mission, you will work closely with Swedish public agencies and international development actors, including Sida, embassies, multilateral development banks, and local authorities, to support sustainable business and investment projects.

The role is based in Bogotá, but you will be expected to work closely with colleagues and clients across Latin America and globally.
