Full description
Decile Group (https://decilegroup.com) is transforming venture capital into a force for good in the world. We are working to launch 10,000 next-generation venture capital firms by 2030, fundamentally changing the face of venture capital.
We operate an integrated platform for modern venture capital, spanning education, software, and fund operations. VC Lab trains the next generation of fund managers. Decile Hub provides AI-enabled tools for fund operations. Start Fund enables managers to launch institutional-grade funds in under 24 hours. Decile Capital deploys capital into emerging managers. Together, these offerings make venture capital more accessible to anyone with world-class ideas and execution.
We're looking for a QA Engineer to join the Decile Group product team and own quality across Decile Hub and Start Fund. Read more about how Decile Group builds here:
This is not a role where someone hands you a test script and you follow it. Your job is to anticipate issues before they come up. You will build the QA system: the agents, the test plans, the release checks, and the habits that catch problems before a fund manager or LP ever sees them.
The ideal candidate is agentic from day one. You set up cutting-edge AI agents that test, monitor, and flag problems on their own. You understand our customers well enough to predict where they will get stuck, from a fund manager launching a fund to an LP logging in for the first time to sign documents or wire capital. You still bring the discipline of a classic QA: organized, thorough, and relentless about follow-through.
You don't need to come from a big company. You need to show us that you can catch what others miss.
Basic requirements:
- You must live and work within a few time zones of Pacific (California) time.
- You must be actively building with AI agents, not just using chat tools.
- You must be able to own quality end to end without waiting for instructions.
- You must be willing to get close to customers (calls, tickets, onboarding sessions) and turn what you learn into tests.
If you want to build the quality system for a platform that thousands of investors use to run their firms, you belong at Decile Group.
And we want to work with you too.
What You'll Do
- Anticipate issues before release. Study each feature, the customer using it, and the flows around it, and find the problems before they ship. You are measured by what never reaches customers.
- Build an agentic QA system. Set up and maintain AI agents that run regression tests, explore new features, check customer flows, and flag risks automatically. Keep improving them as the tools get better.
