Full description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of our software products across web, mobile, and backend systems. The successful candidate will design and execute comprehensive test strategies, build automated test frameworks, and work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to catch issues before they reach production. This is a hands-on role for a QA professional who is equally comfortable writing detailed manual test cases, building automation scripts, and driving quality standards across the full software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and technical requirements.
- Define QA scope, entry/exit criteria, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with product managers and engineering leads.
- Review user stories, requirements, and technical specifications to identify gaps, ambiguities, and edge cases before development begins.
- Identify and prioritize test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Execute manual test cases across web, mobile, and API layers; log defects with clear reproduction steps and severity classification.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Develop and maintain API test suites using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops.
- Track, triage, and manage defects through their full lifecycle using tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to define quality gates and release readiness criteria.
