Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

Role Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer with 0-2+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality software products by conducting thorough testing and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities :

• Understand software requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.

• Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects.

• Report and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution.

• Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand project objectives and timelines.

• Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing to ensure software meets user needs.

• Document testing processes and results for future reference.

• Continuously update skills and stay informed about emerging QA trends and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of manual testing concepts and testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, JMeter, or similar (preferred).

• Understanding of bug tracking systems and tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Skills :

• Basic programming knowledge in languages like Java, Python, or C#.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
