Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment ConsultantTechnology RecruitmentCardiff | £35,000 - £45,000 + Uncapped Commission

The Technology team at Yolk is growing, and we're looking for ambitious recruiters and proven sales professionals who want the opportunity to build something.

This isn't a role where you'll simply manage an established desk. It's an opportunity to build, develop and grow your own market within one of the most exciting and fastest-growing sectors in the UK economy.

We recruit across AI, Data, Software Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Technology Leadership, partnering with organisations ranging from high-growth scale-ups through to global consultancies and enterprise businesses.

You'll join an established technology practice with access to existing client relationships, proven delivery processes, marketing support, modern recruitment technology and experienced leadership, whilst having the freedom to build a market that genuinely feels like your own.

If you're ambitious, commercially driven and motivated by ownership, we'd like to speak with you.

Why Join Yolk?

We're ambitious, but we're not interested in KPI theatre. We trust good people to run their desks like professionals. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, build relationships and grow your market, whilst having the support of an established business behind you.

This is an opportunity to join a successful technology practice at a point of growth and play a genuine role in shaping its future.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?

Build Your Own Market - You'll have the freedom to develop your own specialist area within technology recruitment, becoming a recognised expert in a market you can genuinely call your own.

Established Platform - You'll benefit from existing client relationships, warm introductions, marketing support, candidate networks and a recognised brand, giving you a strong foundation from day one.

High-Growth Sector - Technology remains one of the most in-demand recruitment markets in the UK and Europe. You'll recruit across cutting-edge areas including AI, Data, Software, Cloud and Cyber Security.

Real Progression - As you grow your market and your billing, clear progression opportunities are available into senior and leadership roles. Promotion targets/criteria are laid out simply for you with support and regular discussion on how to get to where you want.

What You'll Be Doing

• Running a full 360 recruitment desk from business development through to placement
• Developing and growing your own specialist market within technology
• Building long-term relationships with candidates and hiring managers
• Winning new business and growing existing client partnerships
• Advising clients on market trends, salary benchmarking and hiring strategy
• Managing recruitment processes from briefing through to offer and placement
• Negotiating fees, salaries and contract rates
• Becoming a recognised specialist within your chosen market
• Contributing to the continued growth of the Technology team
