RFID Software R&D VP

1，Key Responsibilities:

Software Strategy & Business Planning: As the top executive of the software R&D organization, formulate and lead the mid-to-long-term technical strategy and product roadmap for the company's RFID and IoT software product lines (covering middleware, cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and big data analytics), aligning seamlessly with the overall corporate business strategy.

Organizational Leadership & Talent Management: Oversee the organizational design, talent pipeline development, and performance management of software R&D, QA, DevOps, and data teams. Build and sustain a world-class, elite agile R&D team.

Core Tech Decision-Making & Moat Building: Lead critical technical architecture decision-making and resolve industry-level challenges in high-concurrency data processing, edge computing, multi-tag anti-collision algorithms, and system high availability. Drive core software copyright and patent portfolios to build an absolute technical moat for the company's software.

R&D Efficiency & Delivery Management: Spearhead the establishment and optimization of standardized R&D processes (e.g., IPD and Agile/Scrum) to significantly boost R&D efficiency and code quality. Control the entire project lifecycle to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of complex software systems.

Cross-functional Synergy & Business Enablement: Partner closely with the executive team across Hardware R&D, Product, and Sales to deeply integrate "hardware-software combined" solutions. Provide top-level technical decision support for major client pre-sales solutions, bidding processes, and critical post-sales upgrades.

2，Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields. A Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.

Experience: 15+ years of software R&D experience, including 8+ years in the RFID or IoT industry, and 5+ years in executive leadership roles (e.g., VP of Software R&D) at large-scale tech enterprises.

Technical & Industry Insight:

Recognized subject matter expert in RFID software and IoT, with deep mastery of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies (e.g., Azure/AWS).

Strong business acumen with the ability to accurately anticipate commercialization trends integrating AI, Big Data, Blockchain, and RFID scenarios.

Proven track record of successfully leading multiple software products from 0-to-1 to large-scale commercial landing, generating tens of millions to hundreds of millions in revenue.

Exceptional Leadership: Outstanding strategic thinking, cross-functional orchestration, and crisis management capabilities. Strong entrepreneurial spirit, sense of ownership, and resilience to thrive in highly uncertain environments.

Language Skills: Fluent in English, capable of conducting cross-border technical exchanges, business negotiations, and reviewing English technical documentation natively.
