The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance**

Your focus is to deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring all guest bedrooms are cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest standards. Working as a key part of our housekeeping team, you will take real pride in your work, demonstrating fantastic attention to detail and efficiency to ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Why Village?

At Village, we do hospitality a little differently. We are all about personality, genuine connections, and creating great experiences for our guests and each other. That is why we back our teams to be themselves, take ownership, learn new skills, and grow their careers.

Previous experience is great, but your attitude and energy matter much more to us. If you are friendly, positive, love working with people, and enjoy being part of a busy team, we will give you all the support, training, and opportunities you need. Because it really does take a Village.

How the Village Thrives

We live our culture through four simple commitments:

• We Can & We Do: We show up to make a genuine difference and do fantastic work everyday, with purpose. We take a right first time approach to our shifts, hit our room productivity timeframes, and consistently deliver immaculate brand standards.

• We Will: Treat each other with respect and dignity. No ego, no drama. We try our best, look out for each other, and work collaboratively to support our colleagues during busy periods.

• We Care: We care about our impact on guests, the community, and each other. We respect guest privacy and belongings, use cleaning materials responsibly to minimise waste, and maintain a friendly, approachable, and professional presence on the corridors.

Your Shift: What You’ll Actually Be Doing

As our Room Attendant, you are the engine of the shift. We trust you to handle:

• Creating the Wow Factor: Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and corridors to exceptional standards of hygiene and presentation.

• The No Problem Approach: Replenishing guest amenities, linen, and supplies while responding promptly and positively to guest requests.

• Sharp Organisation: Keeping your individual housekeeping trolley clean, organised, well-stocked, and ready to roll.

• Eyes and Ears of the Floor: Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the leadership team immediately.

• Shift Safety: Following all health, safety, hygiene, and COSHH procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.

How We Succeed Together

We do not micromanage. It takes a village, so we believe in Ownership & Integrity, giving you the autonomy to manage your daily room allocations, maintain your pace, and take charge of your own performance.

We Empower & Elevate our people. If you want Room to Grow, we provide the training to help you master your skills, using feedback from inspections and audits to continuously improve. We constantly Innovate & Progress so we can Inspire Excellence and smash our guest satisfaction and mystery guest targets together.
