Description
Skyworks' Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Skyworks offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available.
Skyworks' Internship Program offers:
- Challenging, skill-building assignments
- Mentoring and coaching from industry experts
- Launch & Learns and other learning opportunities
- Collaborative team-based work environment
- Networking and social events
- Final presentation to business leaders
Skyworks' RFIC Design Engineer Internships are offered in our Advanced Cellular business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver new and innovative solutions for cellular and Wi-Fi applications in frequency range from 700 MHz to 7 GHz.
- Be responsible for the architectural and feasibility study, design, simulation, and layout of various RF circuit blocks such as power amplifier (PA), low noise amplifier (LNA) and RF switch based on GaAs and SOI based technologies.
- Work activities will include active/passive circuit design and linear/nonlinear RF simulations using various tools such as ADS, Cadence and HFSS.
- Learn the Qorvo IC design flow from schematic level to fully assembled circuit
- Present results, participate in design reviews, and work in the lab alongside applications engineers for characterizing/optimizing RF circuits.
