We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer. This position is with a small, established team based in the DFW area, offering a collaborative and relaxed work environment that fosters innovation. The primary workplace for this position is Aechelon Technology’s Farmer's Branch, TX location.ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for developing and maintaining application-level software that simulates airborne radar systems and other sensors for use in a variety of training devices. The software is written in the C++ programming language on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Responsible for performing tasks related to the following areas:
- Software Design
- Software Implementation
- Technical Documentation
- Team Collaboration

- Software Integration and Testing
- Task Planning and Schedule Estimating
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
- 5+ years of experience in software development using C/C++
- Strong understanding of real-time application programming
