Sales Consultant

Wheelers Chevrolet of Coloma is looking for a sales consultant! Like helping people more than pushing them? Our salespeople don't work on commission, so the only thing you're ever trying to sell someone is the right vehicle. Come help Waushara County drivers find it.

Why work at Wheelers?

Wheelers Family Auto Group has been family-owned since 1964. We have six dealerships across Central Wisconsin, and we like to say we're big enough to serve you, small enough to know you. That goes for our team, too.

Here's what makes selling cars here different:

-
No commission. You're paid to help customers, not to chase the deal that pays you most. That means no pressure on them, and less pressure on you.

-
A relaxed showroom. Customers take their time, ask questions, and leave if it's not the right fit. We're fine with that.

-
Straight pricing. Transparent, competitive prices mean you spend your time on the vehicle, not on haggling.

-
Room to grow. As part of a six-store group, there's a path into finance, management, and other roles when you're ready.

-
A real community. We back local schools, youth programs, and events like the annual K9 Brat Fry, and we'd love to have you there with us.

What do we offer?

-
Salary plus commission

-
Five day a week schedule, rotating Saturdays with team

-
Competitive health, dental, and vision insurance

-
Short-term and long-term disability, critical illness, accident, and life insurance

-
401(k) with company match

-
Paid time off

-
Employee discounts on purchases

-
Paid training on Chevrolet products and our sales process

-
A steady, family-owned employer with more than 60 years in Central Wisconsin

What will you do?

-
Greet walk-in, phone, and online customers and find out what they actually need

-
Walk customers through new Chevrolet and used vehicles, explaining features in plain terms

-
Take customers on test drives and answer questions honestly

-
Help customers value their trade-in, including people who just want to sell us their car

-
Support online shoppers, including those buying 100% online

-
Follow up with customers using our CRM, without hounding them

-
Coordinate with finance, service, and detail teams so every delivery goes smoothly

-
Keep current on Chevrolet trucks, SUVs, EVs, and GM technology

-
Help keep the lot and showroom clean and ready

Who are we looking for?

You don't need car sales experience. We'll train you on the vehicles and the process. We care more about how you treat people.

Must have:

-
A friendly, honest way with people

-
Good listening and communication skills

-
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record

-
Comfort with computers, phones, and email

-
Ability to work Saturdays

Nice to have:

-
Customer service, retail, or hospitality experience

-
Interest in trucks, cars, or anything with an engine

-
Ties to Coloma, Wautoma, Plainfield, Westfield, or nearby communities
