About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Are you passionate about technology that drives social impact? Ready to kick-start a career at the intersection of sales, tech, and AI? This is your opportunity.

We're looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team, focused on engaging government agencies, public institutions, and non-profit organisations. You'll help mission-led organisations discover how our technology can amplify their impact — and in doing so, build a strong foundation for a long-term career in tech sales and AI.

About the Role

As an SDR, you'll be the first voice many of our prospective customers hear. You'll spark curiosity, build relationships, and connect organisations doing important work with the tools that can help them do it better. You'll work alongside Business Development Representatives and Account Executives, supporting a diverse range of public-good verticals.

This role is genuinely career-defining. You'll gain hands-on exposure to AI-powered tools and platforms from day one, with a clear pathway into AI-focused roles as you grow.

What You'll Be Doing

• Engage and qualify leads across inbound and outbound channels — calls, web chat, events, webinars, and more

• Drive high-quality meetings and create meaningful opportunities for the wider sales team

• Build credibility and trust with prospects and internal stakeholders across the NGO and public sector

• Champion event registrations and represent us at sector-relevant events

• Develop technical and industry knowledge using Salesforce's AI tools and learning platforms, including Trailhead

• Maintain creative, personalised follow-ups that keep prospects engaged and curious

• Grow your understanding of AI and how it's transforming public and social sector organisations

Your Path Into AI

This role is more than a sales job — it's a launchpad. You'll work hands-on with Salesforce's AI-powered platform, gaining real experience with the tools reshaping how organisations operate. We actively support career development into AI strategy, AI sales, and product specialisation for team members who want to grow in that direction.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine curiosity and passion for technology's role in supporting communities and mission-driven organisations

• Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging diverse stakeholders

• Motivation, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

• A proactive mindset — you take initiative and step up without being asked

• Drive to hit targets while contributing to something bigger than a quota

• No prior sales experience required — we hire for potential and invest in your growth

Why Join Us?

• Work with purpose-driven organisations making a real difference

• Get structured training and mentorship from day one

• Build a future in AI and tech sales with clear career progression

• Access world-class learning through Salesforce Trailhead and internal programs
