Looking to start your career in tech sales?

We're growing our Brisbane sales team and looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join iseekplant.

We've just celebrated our 15th birthday! As Australia's largest construction services and equipment hire marketplace, we've spent the past 15 years connecting Australian businesses and expanding into digital marketing, SaaS and emerging AI solutions.

This role is designed as a stepping stone into an Account Executive position.

You'll work closely with our Brisbane sales team, speaking with business owners, identifying opportunities and booking qualified meetings for our Account Executives.

You'll receive comprehensive sales training, weekly coaching from our Group Sales Manager and the opportunity to learn directly from experienced sales professionals.

As you develop, you'll also have opportunities to gain hands-on selling experience with one of our entry level AI products, Gofer Virtual Receptionist, helping you build skills across both prospecting and closing easy entry new business.

What you'll be doing

-
Outbound prospecting: Research and identify hot prospects, add them to hubspot and engage through high-volume outbound calls to Australian businesses, qualifying new sales opportunities.

-
Booking qualified meetings: Speak with business owners, understand their needs and book meetings for our Account Executives.

-
Working with our sales team: Collaborate with our Brisbane team to generate opportunities and help achieve team targets.

-
Building your pipeline: Use our extensive customer database to identify and reconnect with potential customers.

-
Developing sales skills: Learn prospecting, discovery, objection handling and, as you progress, how to close deals.

-
Managing your performance: Use HubSpot to track calls, meetings, follow-ups and weekly targets.

What's in it for you?We want this role to be the start of your sales career, not where it ends.

-
Base salary + monthly incentive: Earn monthly incentives on top of your base salary, with opportunities to increase your earnings as you grow.

-
A pathway into an Account Executive role: Develop the skills and experience to progress into a closing sales position.

-
Weekly coaching: Regular one-on-one support and coaching from our Group Sales Manager.

-
Comprehensive sales training: Learn B2B sales from an experienced team who are invested in helping you succeed.

-
Exposure to technology and AI: Gain experience across digital marketing, marketplace, SaaS and AI products including premium subscriptions.

-
A supportive team: Work alongside people who share knowledge, support each other and celebrate success.

-
A great office culture: Highly competitive table tennis matches at lunch, Friday drinks trolley, team celebrations, incentives and quarterly team events.

Who we're looking for

You don't need years of sales experience to succeed here. We're looking for someone who's hardworking, enjoys speaking with people and is genuinely excited about building a career in tech sales. We can teach you the rest.

You'll be a great fit if you:

-
Enjoy talking to people and feel confident picking up the phone.

-
Have a strong work ethic and are prepared to put in the effort to achieve your goals.

-
Are a team player who cares about your own success and the success of those around you.

-
Have a positive attitude and can handle rejection without letting it get you down.

-
Are motivated to learn and open to coaching, feedback and developing new skills.

-
Enjoy working towards targets and seeing your hard work turn into results.

Previous experience in outbound sales or a call centre environment would be advantageous, but isn't essential.

If you bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in sales, we'll invest in your training, coaching and development to help you succeed.
