Sales Development Representative

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Sales Development Representative (Outbound) — Commercial

At Snowflake, we are building the future of the data-driven enterprise. We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (Outbound) who thrives on the hunt — someone who creates pipeline from nothing, works at high volume, and knows how to qualify fast and move faster.

This is a pure outbound role targeting the commercial segment. There is no inbound queue to rely on. You will prospect cold, build your own account list when needed, and generate a consistent volume of high-quality meetings and opportunities for Account Executives. If you are motivated by the challenge of opening doors that aren't already open, this role is built for you.

The person we are looking for combines relentless outbound drive with sharp commercial judgement. You know how to find the right accounts, reach the right people, and quickly determine whether there's a real opportunity — or move on.

AS A SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (OUTBOUND) AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

• Generate pipeline through high-volume outbound prospecting — cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn, and multi-channel sequencing

• Build and maintain your own target account lists using online research, intent signals, firmographic data, and competitive intelligence — with or without a pre-defined account set

• Meet and exceed activity and pipeline targets: 80+ meetings booked and 35+ qualified opportunities created per quarter

• Qualify and disqualify accounts quickly and accurately — identify fit, urgency, and buying potential without over-investing in low-probability accounts

• Engage commercial buyers with sharp, relevant messaging that connects Snowflake's platform value to their specific business context

• Partner with Account Executives to hand off well-qualified opportunities and support early deal progression

• Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene — accurate pipeline status, activity logging, and prospecting data to support forecasting and outreach effectiveness

• Develop strong working knowledge of Snowflake's data platform, key use cases, and competitive positioning to run credible outbound conversations

OUR IDEAL SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (OUTBOUND) WILL HAVE:

• 2–4 years of outbound SDR or inside sales experience, preferably in a commercial or high-velocity segment

• Proven track record of high-volume cold calling and outbound prospecting

• Strong ability to self-source accounts and build prospect lists independently, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar

• Speed and discipline in qualification — knows how to quickly identify whether an account is worth pursuing and when to move on

• Experience with outbound sequencing and sales engagement platforms (Outreach or Salesloft preferred)

• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for pipeline tracking and activity management

• Strong verbal communication skills with the confidence and resilience required for high-volume cold outreach

• Curiosity about data, AI, and the enterprise technology landscape

• Ambition to grow into an Account Executive role and readiness to earn that progression through consistent outbound performance

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
