Sales Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Sales Manager to help drive our go-to-market for power conversion and energy storage technology. You will support sales across two complementary fronts: cross-selling our core technology to the world's leading energy storage players and hyperscalers, and selling our own complete BESS systems to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers.

This is a high-impact role with the rare opportunity to grow with a fast-scaling sales team. We have a flagship reference - a signed lead contract with one of the largest global BESS players - to use as a springboard to accelerate our Go-to-Market. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will work hand in hand with engineering, product, and marketing to translate our technology leadership into commercial wins.

This role is based at our Zagreb, Croatia OR Witney, Oxfordshire site, with regular international travel expected.

Responsibilites

-
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, including supporting the commercial expansion of our flagship technology agreement with one of the largest global BESS players.

-
Identify and develop new technology cross-sell opportunities with BESS players and hyperscalers, leveraging our differentiated technology.

-
Drive direct sales of our complete BESS systems to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers, building a pipeline of recurring business.

-
Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers for both technology and full-system supply.

-
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

-
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.

-
Work with engineering and product teams to translate customer requirements into tailored solutions.

-
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM records, and report regularly on bookings and revenue.

Requirements

-
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

-
2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in energy storage, power electronics, renewables, or related markets, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

-
Experience selling complex technology or systems to business customers, ideally in BESS, utility, or C&I segments.

-
Solid commercial acumen, with experience in contract negotiation and deal structuring.

-
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

-
A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage the full sales cycle in a fast-moving, scale-up environment.

-
Proficient with AI tools and ready to apply them to speed up any task.

-
Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Considered as an Advantage

-
Existing network among global BESS OEMs, hyperscalers, IPPs, and C&I players.

-
Exposure to technology supply, joint development, or partnership agreements.

-
Understanding of grid services, energy markets, and the regulatory landscape across UK, EU, and US.

-
Experience working in an early-stage or scale-up environment.

-
Familiarity with Incoterms, international shipping, and trade compliance basics.
