Sales Manager - IT Products & Services

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a customer-facing Sales Manager who has personally sold enterprise technology products and professional services. This is not a lead-generation or inside-sales role. You will spend meaningful time with customers, understand their technology and business priorities, shape opportunities with our architects and product teams, build commercial proposals, negotiate, and own opportunities through closure.

What You'll Sell:

• Nutanix consulting, implementation, migration, automation and professional services.

• Hybrid cloud, data-center modernization, virtualization and platform transformation.

• Kubernetes and cloud-native platform services.

• Infrastructure automation, integrations, disaster recovery and business-continuity solutions.

• AI-enabled infrastructure and automation solutions.

• AvancerPI enterprise software products covering migration, platform automation, cloud operations, resource/program management and related enterprise use cases.

What You'll Do:

• Develop direct relationships with enterprise technology and business stakeholders.

• Run discovery conversations to understand customer environments, pain points, transformation programs and buying priorities.

• Identify and qualify opportunities across both professional services and software products.

• Own the opportunity lifecycle from qualification through solutioning, proposal, commercial negotiation and closure.

• Use a consultative sales approach to connect customer problems with the right solution rather than simply presenting a product catalogue.

• Coordinate architects, consultants and product specialists for workshops, demonstrations, solution presentations and technical validation.

• Build proposals, commercial responses, account plans and opportunity strategies.

• Respond to RFP/RFI opportunities with internal technical and delivery teams.

• Maintain disciplined pipeline, forecast, CRM and follow-up cadence.

• Grow existing accounts through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.

• Work with OEMs, technology partners and ecosystem stakeholders on joint opportunities.

• Represent AvancerPI in customer meetings, events, roadshows and partner engagements.

• Work with remote BDM/outbound resources that create initial access, then take qualified opportunities into customer-facing sales motion.

• Feed structured customer and market insight back into product and service strategy.

What We're Looking For:

• 5 - 8 years of enterprise technology sales experience with direct customer ownership.

• Evidence of personally selling IT services, infrastructure/cloud solutions, enterprise software or a combination of products and services.

• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across customer technology, procurement, finance and leadership teams.

• Comfort with proposals, SOWs, commercials, negotiation and revenue targets.

• Strong presentation, relationship-management and written communication skills.

• Ability to understand technical solutions sufficiently to lead a credible customer conversation and bring specialists in at the right time.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings when required.

• Strong pipeline discipline and ability to forecast realistically.

Strongly Preferred:

• Exposure to Cloud / Data Center - Nutanix / VMware - Kubernetes / Red Hat - Automation - Migration & Modernization - Cybersecurity - Enterprise Software / SaaS - AI Solutions.

How We'll Evaluate This Role:

• What did you personally sell?

• Who were the customer personas and decision makers?

• What was your average deal size and sales cycle?

• What target/quota did you own and what did you achieve?

• What was your exact role from first customer meeting to PO/contract?
