We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.
As a Sr Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within Consumer and Community Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Executes end-to-end software and analytics solutions—including design, development, and technical troubleshooting—for Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA/Tableau CRM) and Tableau, with the ability to think beyond routine approaches to build scalable, data-driven solutions and break down complex technical problems.
- Designs and develops secure, high-quality production code, data pipelines, and analytics assets (dashboards, lenses, datasets, recipes) that integrate seamlessly with Salesforce and related systems.
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex analytics and AI-driven applications, ensuring that design constraints (performance, security, scalability, governance) are met by software and analytics development.
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops advanced visualizations, dashboards, and reporting from large, diverse data sets using CRMA/Tableau in service of continuous improvement of business processes, customer insights, and system performance.
- Drives adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-assisted code review/refactoring, test acceleration, release readiness, incident/root-cause analysis), while establishing measurable validation standards (secure coding, peer review, automated testing) and promoting reuse of proven patterns and automation within the SDLC/TLM toolchain.
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation at scale.
- Partners with product owners, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust analytics solutions, including KPIs, data models, and AI-driven recommendations.
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data, dashboards, and integrations, and drives remediation and optimization across data quality, performance, and user experience.
- Contributes to software engineering and analytics communities of practice, sharing best practices in CRMA/Tableau, data modeling, AI/ML integration, and emerging Salesforce technologies.
