Position Summary:
The SAP FI/CO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Specialist is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and support of the SAP FI/CO module to meet the business needs of the organization. This role involves working closely with business users to understand specific business requirements, configuring SAP FI/CO solutions, and ensuring that these solutions meet the requirements and function effectively within the SAP ECC 6.0 environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements related to financial accounting and controlling processes.
- Collaborate with other SAP Specialists (ABAP, MDM, MM, WM, SD) for integration and data related matters.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical design documents.
- Configure SAP FI/CO modules (e.g., Chart of Accounts, FI-General Ledger, FI-Accounts Payable, FIAccounts Receivable, FI-Bank Accounting, CO-Controlling Area, CO-Cost Element Accounting, CO-Cost
Center, CO-Profit Center, CO-Internal Orders) based on business requirements.
- Customize and enhance the FI/CO module to meet specific business needs, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
- Provide day-to-day support for the SAP FI/CO module, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Perform system maintenance tasks, including regular system updates and upgrades.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of the SAP FI/CO solutions.
- Perform internal testing to validate and confirm customization or setup accuracy and stability.
- Coordinate with business users for user acceptance testing (UAT) and obtain signoffs.
- Prepare detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions and create user manuals to facilitate end-user adoption and proficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency.
