SATCOM Systems Engineer, Ground Segment, Systems and SW Focus

About the role

Metrica is looking for a SATCOM Systems Engineer, ground segment, focus on systems and SW, for a Space Sector project.

What you'll do

• Define requirements for antennas, RF, modems, synchronization, and networks.

• Manage HW/SW interfaces, ICD, integration, and link budgets.

• Support FAT, deployment, and station testing.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a person to specify and integrate hardware and RF for ground stations.

*Qualification: Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar.

*At least 10 years of professional experience in Telecommunications.

*Experience in ground stations, SATCOM terminals, or gateways.

*Experience in RF, digital communications, and equipment integration.

Nice to have

*Knowledge of ECSS, DOORS, MBSE, Capella, and UML.

*Knowledge of Antennas, HPA, LNA, converters, modems, and EMC.

*Intermediate-high English. You will not need to operate entirely in English, but most of the documentation handled is in English given that it is an international environment.

• Modality: Hybrid. 40% - 60% Teleworking

• Availability to travel: national and international levels
