Scheduler / Dispatcher | simPRO | 50 Years Established

Scheduler / Dispatcher | simPRO | Strata & Real Estate | 50 Years Established

*Banksmeadow | Full-time | Competitive pay + super*

Fifty-five years of keeping Sydney’s buildings running, and you’d be running the board.

Howard Plumbing has been at this for over 55 years — one of the longest-established plumbing businesses in Sydney. We specialise in strata, commercial, real estate and residential plumbing across the Eastern Suburbs, CBD, Inner West and North Shore. The phones are busy, the Inbox is humming, and the days move fast.

We are looking for an experienced Scheduler to keep our team of plumbers moving. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love solving logistical puzzles and can stay calm when the phones won’t stop ringing, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note this role is based 5 days a week in our Banksmeadow office. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.The work

You’ll be the hub of the operation, coordinating multiple plumbers across a steady flow of strata, real estate and residential jobs. Day to day, that means:

• Scheduling and dispatching jobs across the team in SimPRO, with routing that makes sense for a patch that crosses the harbour
• Booking access with owners, tenants and property managers and keeping strata managers and homeowners updated
• Slotting in urgent and emergency work without wrecking the rest of the day
• Handling calls and emails promptly and professionally
• Working closely with the plumbers to cut travel time and keep the day productive
• Prepare and submit client reports, service records, and other supporting documentation
• Assist with invoicing, purchasing orders, and cost tracking

Who you'd be joining

A highly experienced team, and office staff who understand plumbing. We're tight-knit, fun-loving, and built on a culture of mutual respect, hard work and good banter — good people, no drama, and a real sense of pride in what we do.

We're part of Hot Water Pro Pty Ltd alongside Hot Water Sydney — 35 years in hot water, from electric, gas, solar and heat pumps through to large-scale commercial systems.

RequirementsWhat you’ll bring

• Scheduling or dispatch experience in a busy trade or service business (plumbing experience highly regarded)
• General understanding of trades/building services; in particular basic plumbing knowledge and terminology
• Solid hands-on simPRO experience
• Familiarity with strata and real estate processes: work orders, tenant access and approvals
• A clear, friendly phone manner with owners, tenants and agents
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• A calm head when multiple urgent jobs land at once

NOTE: This role is only for applicants with Australian permanent work rights.

BenefitsWhat we offer

• Competitive pay rate + super, depending on experience
• Stable, ongoing work with a long-established business
• Supportive leadership team with 50+ years of industry experience behind you
• Onsite parking, close to Westfield Pagewood
