Search Media Manager (Contract)

APAC Media KL Delivery Hub

Paid Media Manager - Search (Junior or Mid)

Kuala Lumpur · Mostly remote · Search track · Reports to Senior Pod Lead

6 months contract

Where this role fits: Paid Media Managers are the hands-on engine of our delivery,

building and optimising the paid search campaigns that deliver outcomes for our clients

every day.

About the Role

Our KL delivery hub builds, runs and optimises paid media for leading Australian and APAC brands,

many in fast-moving retail. You'll be part of a pod of 3 or 4 led by a Senior Pod Lead, working directly

with Performance Account Managers and Account Directors in Sydney.

You'll build deep expertise in Google Ads, supported by training and clear standards from our Centre

of Excellence, with the chance to develop Social skills as you grow. Every step up adds ownership;

progression is based on what you take on, not time served.

Career path: Junior, Mid, then Senior Paid Media Manager on the Pod Lead or client track. The

client track can lead on to Performance Account Manager.

Who is Incubeta?

Incubeta is a marketing outcomes agency, powered by AI. We help ambitious brands grow

revenue, protect margin and prove what marketing is worth. Our APAC teams work from Sydney,

Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, as part of a global network across the Americas, the UK, Europe,

Africa and the Middle East.

What You Will Do

• Build Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns from briefs to our naming, tracking and structure standards, and self-check before every handover.
• Manage budgets, bids, keywords and search terms daily; act or escalate early when delivery drifts. As a Junior, your Pod Lead signs off any budget or major account change before it goes live.
• Keep Merchant Center feeds, conversion tracking and GA4 healthy, and flag issues to your

Pod Lead. (Mid level)

• Set up automated rules and run health checks after every launch and promotion.
• Run ad copy, bidding and landing page tests on our framework and share what you learn with your pod and the wider team. (Mid level)
• Pull performance data, explain what moved and why, and support weekly and monthly reporting.
• Know each client's business and competitors, and keep up with new platform features.
• Use our automation and AI tools (Google Ads Editor, scripts, copy workflows or similar) and suggest where manual work can be automated.

What You Will Bring

• Junior: 1 to 2 years of hands-on Google Ads experience.
• Mid: 2 to 4 years running Search accounts end to end.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with numbers; you check your own work before anyone else has to.
• Clear written English and confidence working with Australian stakeholders.
• Comfortable with high brief volumes and tight turnarounds; curious about automation and AI.
• Nice to have: Social experience (Meta or TikTok), retail or ecommerce, Google Ads Search or Shopping certifications.

Skills & Attributes

• Commercially curious: you understand the trade-offs between efficiency and scale.
• Analytical, using data to shape decisions and recommendations.
• Organised and steady under pressure, keeping accuracy high when things get busy.
• Proactive, with genuine ownership of your work.
• ● A collaborative team player who shares knowledge and asks for help early.
• Open to feedback and keen to grow, whether towards Pod Lead or client work.

Why Join Us

Major Australian and APAC brands from KL; AI and automation in everyday delivery; structured

training from our Centre of Excellence; a transparent path with two Senior tracks.

Where You Will Work

You'll be based in Kuala Lumpur and work mostly from home, joining the team in our KL office two

days a month. As you'll be working closely with our Australian colleagues, some overlap with their

business hours is part of the role.
