Must have
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC environment
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SIEM platforms; Splunk required
- Proven ability to collaborate with global teams across time zones and partner with U.S.-based leadership
- Proven experience in incident response and threat hunting
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and ability to perform complete incident investigation and triage as final escalation point
- Comprehensive knowledge of Splunk SIEM with capability to use alternative platforms like Google SecOps or Microsoft Sentinel
- Working knowledge of modern EDR tools like CrowdStrike and SentinelOne, email security, and cloud identity platforms
- Confidence to autonomously resolve complex investigations
- Meet client expectations, track action items to completion, and maintain transparent communication
- Advanced knowledge of Adversary TTPs, Event Logging, and Event Triage
- Ability to pivot to other log sources, cloud systems, or consoles for comprehensive multi-source analysis
- Desire to uplift the program and team through updating training materials and SOPs
- Hands-on experience with enterprise ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira
- Ability to write thorough, accurate, and complete reports and analysis
- Monitor and manage incoming security alerts against strict operational SLAs
- Willingness to work 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM IST shift
- Located in or near Bangalore with flexibility to work from the local office
