Our Security team plays a unique dual role, combining the vigilance and professionalism of security officers with the warmth, attentiveness, and personalized service of luxury hotel bellmen.

We are seeking a dedicated, hands-on Security & Loss Prevention Supervisor to lead this team, ensuring that every guest feels both welcomed and protected from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Your responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise our Security / Bellman team, ensuring exceptional standards of both safety and guest service.

• Actively participate in daily operations, including welcoming guests, handling luggage, assisting with arrivals and departures, and coordinating transportation.

• Ensure security officers consistently demonstrate genuine hospitality, professionalism, discretion, and a proactive service mindset.

• Coordinate security coverage, shift schedules, patrols, and operational handovers.

• Monitor property security, identify potential risks, and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

• Oversee the resort's Lost & Found operation, ensuring accurate registration, secure storage, inventory control, and proper handling of recovered belongings.

• Implement preventive measures to safeguard guest belongings, resort assets, and operational resources.

• Conduct incident reviews, maintain accurate reports, and follow through on corrective actions.

• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Resort Management to ensure seamless operations.

• Support ongoing training and development in security awareness, guest interaction, service excellence, and emergency procedures.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable assisting a guest with their luggage as they are responding confidently to a security concern.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates:

• Previous experience in hotel security, loss prevention, bell services, or hospitality operations, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.

• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire, coach, and motivate a team.

• Excellent situational awareness, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to safety and security.

• A warm, approachable personality combined with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Experience in incident reporting, security procedures, and emergency response.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

• The ability and willingness to assist with luggage handling and other physical duties associated with the role.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Proficiency in English; Papiamento, Dutch, and Spanish are considered assets.
