Senior Account Executive - SAP (f/m/x)

Over the past 25 years, NETCONOMY has grown from a startup into a team of 450+ experts across ten European locations. We believe in the power of agile and cross-functional collaboration, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to build outstanding digital solutions.

YOUR JOB

In the role of Senior Account Executive, you are responsible for acquiring new customers in retail and consumer facing industries and for building our SAP Public Cloud footprint. You take full ownership of your target accounts, lead the sales approach together with internal and external stakeholders, and run the process from initial outreach to signed commercial agreement.

Your job's key responsibilities are:

• Driving new customer acquisition in the retail and consumer sector, including target account strategy and prioritization

• Managing the entire sales cycle – from initial contact through solution development and commercial negotiations to contract closure

• Positioning SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and relevant SAP Industry Cloud solutions for Retail and Omnichannel

• Translating specific retail requirements into a compelling proposition: fit-to-standard instead of custom code, clean core, predictable subscription costs and fast time-to-value

• Building sustainable relationships with key decision-makers across business and IT

• Developing the sales storyline and coordinating proposals, presentations and contracts for decision-makers

• Maintaining a qualified pipeline and reliable sales forecast

• Representing NETCONOMY at relevant trade fairs and industry events

YOUR SKILLS

• 5+ years of hands-on B2B sales experience selling complex IT solutions or enterprise software, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition

• Experience in the SAP ecosystem, ideally with S/4HANA, SAP Public Cloud, SAP Commerce or SAP Industry Cloud

• Industry knowledge in Retail and Consumer-facing industries

• Understanding of cloud transformation, system integration and fit-to-standard approaches

• Experience with complex negotiations and multiple stakeholders

• Strong sales discipline: independently building pipelines, using qualification methodologies such as MEDDIC, and maintaining reliable forecasts

• Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels

• Willingness to travel approximately 50–60% of the time

• Excellent German (C1) and English (B2/C1) communication skills
