Full description
Senior Account Executive – Enterprise & Mid-Market (Pre-Sales/Sales) – Munich (Hybrid)/South Africa (Remote)
We are working with a fast-growing AI startup that has already proven its product with major industrial names - and now needs someone to turn that early traction into a repeatable, scalable sales motion. The problem this company solves is a costly one: industrial manufacturers lose real revenue every year to missed requirements and non-conformance costs buried in complex tenders and RFQs. You'll be selling a proven fix for that problem into the exact kind of companies who feel that pain most.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- 5-7 years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally selling enterprise software, SaaS, industrial software, engineering tools, AI products, or other complex solutions
- Demonstrated ability to sell to medium and large companies with multiple stakeholders in the buying decision
- Full end-to-end ownership mindset - from first outreach through discovery, negotiation, and signed contract
- Strong commercial discipline: pipeline management, forecasting, conversion rates, and deal-stage rigour
- Comfortable working closely with Solutions Engineers on technical validation, without handing off deal ownership
- Genuine startup fit - entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity, ready to help build the playbook rather than inherit one
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Enough technical fluency to sell credibly around enterprise software, integrations, workflows, data, AI, SSO, and APIs - no engineering background required
- Confident with CRM systems, LinkedIn, account research tools, and AI-assisted prospecting
- Higher education or comparable professional background in business, engineering, industrial management, information systems, or economics
- German or another European language
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience selling into industrial, engineering, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or government-type environments
Compensation: Negotiable Competitive base + performance-linked commission, with an OTE broadly in line with senior enterprise sales roles in this space, plus equity
