Senior Administrative Assistant to an Internal Audit Team for NATO with security clearance

Auditors ask the hard questions. You make sure the office behind them runs like clockwork.

The internal audit office of a multinational defence organisation in Brussels is looking for an
experienced senior assistant: the person who keeps its documents, diary, travel and information
flowing, and who the auditors rely on to get things right first time.

What you would be doing

• Preparing correspondence, reports and documents - often with tables and formulae - to the

organisation's formatting standards, and correcting language where needed

• Steering formal audit reports through proofing, review and signature to final distribution

• Arranging meetings, workshops and conferences, and organising travel, accommodation, visit

requests and the related purchase orders

• Entering travel, purchasing and supporting records in the internal management systems

• Maintaining the office's documentation, filing and SharePoint pages

• Being the first point of contact for the team: enquiries, calls, e-mail and day-to-day

scheduling, plus the unit's information management and learning focal point roles

What you would bring

• Higher vocational training with 2 years of relevant experience, or secondary education with

4 years

• At least two years in a progressively responsible technical and administrative support role

• Strong Microsoft Office skills including SharePoint, and familiarity with databases

• Excellent spoken and written English

• Initiative, flexibility and a calm, diplomatic manner with internal and external contacts

• A plus: audit experience, web page maintenance, or work in an international military and

civilian environment
