Full description
Niuro is hiring a Senior AI Engineer for a company turning complex regulatory and safety data into AI-native products. You will design, build and evaluate agentic and LLM systems, including customer-facing assistants and document intelligence pipelines that process billions of tokens.
You will:
- Design and orchestrate multi-agent workflows with planning, implementation and validation agents.
- Architect MCP integrations and modularize async, heavy workloads.
- Run spec-driven and eval-driven development to prevent agent drift.
- Build LLM evaluation pipelines with golden datasets, LLM-as-judge and precision/recall tracking.
- Evaluate, fine-tune and deploy open-weight models across hosting providers.
- Contribute to OCR, classification and NER pipelines.
You bring:
- 6+ years in software engineering, shipping production ML and AI systems.
- Deep Python proficiency.
- Hands-on orchestration of coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex in real workflows.
- Strong knowledge of MCP, tool calls and agent-to-agent protocols.
- Experience with open-weight models (Qwen, Llama, Mistral) and platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI or Azure OpenAI.
- C1 English.
Nice to have: OCR, AWS Textract, SageMaker, Spanish or Portuguese.
Remote from Latin America, full-time contractor.
