Your role and responsibilities
- Technically lead APC projects, defining scope, schedule, methodology, resources and execution strategy.
- Analyze mining, metals and cement processes to identify opportunities for optimization, stabilization and performance improvement.
- Design, configure, test and commission advanced control strategies, including APC, model predictive control (MPC), fuzzy logic, control logic and process variable optimization.
- Apply APC to grinding, flotation, thickening, crushing, pelletizing, kilns, mills, separators, feeding/dosing and other industrial processes.
- Prepare and review technical documentation: functional specifications, architectures, test procedures, commissioning plans and performance reports.
- Integrate APC solutions with control systems, historians, databases, OPC servers and other industrial systems.
- Support installation, testing, assisted start-up, tuning, stabilization and benefit validation on site with customers.
- Contribute to technical proposals, including effort estimates, scope definition, assumptions, risk assessment and implementation strategy.
