Skills
Must have
- The Experience: 8+ years in software engineering and solution architecture, with a significant portion of that time spent in retail supply chain, logistics, or demand planning.
- Full-Stack Fluency: You have a strong background in development. You understand the nuances of modern full-stack engineering, API-first design, and integration patterns (event-driven vs. batch).
- Domain Depth: You know the retail supply chain inside and out—from replenishment and inventory visibility to transportation and store-level fulfillment.
- Cloud & Data: You are comfortable working in cloud-native environments and understand how to model data for high-velocity, real-time analytics.
- Communication: You can simplify complexity. If you can’t explain a technical hurdle to a business stakeholder in a way that helps them make a decision, this probably isn't the right fit.
- Adaptability: 7-Eleven is a fast-paced environment. We need someone who can navigate legacy system complexities while pushing forward with modern, cloud-first implementations.
