Senior Azure Integration Engineer
Permanent | Melbourne | Hybrid | Up to $165k + super
We're looking for a genuinely hands-on Senior Azure Integration Engineer to join a growing enterprise integration capability within a large Australian organisation.
This is not an architecture-only role and it's not a position where you'll simply oversee delivery.
You'll be designing, building, deploying and supporting integrations yourself, working across a modern Azure Integration Services environment and helping shape the standards and patterns the wider team uses.
The environment
The organisation is in the middle of a significant transformation program and is continuing to build out its enterprise integration platform across a complex mix of cloud and on-premise systems.

The focus is on building integrations that are scalable, resilient, observable and supportable in production.
What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with the Integration Lead and wider Platform Engineering team to:
- Design and build enterprise integrations using Azure Integration Services
- Develop solutions across Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus and API Management
- Build event-driven and asynchronous integration patterns
- Design secure APIs and messaging solutions
- Implement appropriate retry, dead-lettering and idempotency patterns
- Improve end-to-end observability, logging and transaction tracing
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps
- Work with infrastructure-as-code and repeatable deployment practices
- Support production integrations and troubleshoot complex incidents
- Work across cloud, SaaS and on-premise systems
- Contribute to integration standards, reusable patterns and engineering practices
- Work within an enterprise environment with controlled releases, private networking and change processes
What we're looking for
