About the Role We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join an early-stage, highly technical team building mission-critical infrastructure software for large-scale data center environments.
The platform helps monitor environmental conditions, predict potential failures before outages happen, and optimize efficiency across complex physical infrastructure. The company already has strong enterprise traction and is now moving from MVP stage toward an enterprise-scale platform.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys building reliable distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and backend platforms that operate in real-world, mission-critical environments.
Important Note
This is not a typical SaaS CRUD backend role . We are looking for someone with strong systems thinking, distributed systems experience, cloud infrastructure depth, and the ability to build highly reliable backend systems at scale.
Role Overview
The Senior Backend Engineer will help scale backend systems powering real-time monitoring across data center infrastructure globally.
This role is ideal for an engineer who has experience with distributed systems, Go/Golang, AWS cloud infrastructure, reliability, observability, APIs, and edge/cloud orchestration.
What You Will Work On
- Build and scale distributed backend systems in Go
- Work on real-time sensor and event ingestion
- Scale cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Build multi-region and high-availability systems
- Support edge device orchestration and device data flows
- Improve reliability, observability, and backend performance
- Build and maintain public and internal APIs
- Work on data pipelines and analytics infrastructure
