About Abode Money

Abode Money is the first financial manager for homeowners. We save homeowners money on property taxes, insurance, mortgage and more, every year. Our vision is to be the first to create an ongoing relationship with 80M+ homeowners.

Homeowners spend $2T+ a year on their homes with almost no help. We're the first and only company that can lower property taxes in all 50 states, and there's no better way into the homeowner relationship than the bill everyone hates.

Most consumer fintechs are building slightly better versions of products that already exist. We're using AI to turn work that has always been a service into software, and there has never been a better moment to do it.

We've raised $23M from Permanent, Drive, Sequoia, Core VC and 81 Collection.

The Role

You'll be on the front lines with our customers: answering questions, solving issues, and building trust with new users.

You'll also handle the operational work that keeps appeals moving, including filing protests accurately and on time. Your communication sets the tone for the Abode experience.

What You’ll Do

• Support Customers with Care: Answer tickets and emails with clarity, compassion, and professionalism.

• Own Operational Tasks: Handle backend work like data collection, cleanup, and process follow-ups.

• File Accurately: File property tax protests accurately and on time.

• Onboard New Users: Call potential users, walk them through Abode, and help them get set up.

• Surface Insights: Bring feedback from customer conversations to product and operations.

Who You Are

• Remote, online during US hours

• Have experience in customer support, customer success, or operations

• Write and speak excellent English

• Communicate with empathy, patience, and precision

• Have strong attention to detail and follow processes reliably

• Use AI tools to work faster

Our Values

We hire people who want to own their work outright.

• Take ownership. You get more autonomy here than almost anywhere else. Own the outcome, make the calls, and see it through.

• Move fast. Speed is our only advantage, so we ship first and refine after. Sometimes that means fixing things in the open, and we're fine with that.

• Dive deep. Go to the source. Pull the data, read the county code, call the assessor. The details are where we win.

• Be intellectually curious. Learn new domains fast and keep asking why. Now is the time to work smarter, and AI is how we do it.

• Go all in. We work hard and put in long hours because the window in front of us won't stay open forever. We're looking for people who want to do the same.
