Meet your future team
You will join the Data & AI Platforms team, responsible for the shared foundation that supports data, analytics and AI use cases across the organisation.
The team owns and develops the core Data & AI platform landscape, including our Snowflake-based data platform, dbt, GenAI Hub, AI Gateway, Cortex Agents and emerging agentic AI capabilities. We continuously evaluate new technologies, tools and ways of working to provide secure, scalable and developer-friendly platforms that empower teams across the business.
As a Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer, you will play a central role in designing, building and operating these platforms. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, AI Solutions Partners, Data Scientists and other technology specialists, helping them build and deploy data products and AI solutions efficiently and securely.
What We Offer
As a Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer, you will take ownership of core platform capabilities within both Data and AI. You will work hands-on with modern technologies while influencing platform architecture, engineering standards and future technology choices.
More specifically your tasks will be to:
- Build, operate and continuously evolve our Snowflake and dbt-based Data Platform, enabling teams to develop, deploy and operate data products and AI applications independently.
- Design and develop core Data & AI platform capabilities, including Cortex Agents, AI governance, observability, security, access management and developer experience.
- Define platform architecture, engineering standards and best practices across the Data & AI landscape.
- Drive reliability, scalability and cost optimisation across Data and AI workloads, including FinOps initiatives and platform governance.
- Coach and support Data Engineers and AI Solutions Partners by promoting reusable building blocks, platform patterns and engineering best practices.
