Senior Data Center Engineer hired via Devire IT Outsourcing (B2B) for a pharmaceutical/biotech client: day-to-day administration of enterprise data center infrastructure — VMware vSphere, Dell servers/storage/backup, Windows Server, Veeam, monitoring and ITIL processes. Hybrid role, 3-4 days/week from the Gdańsk or Duchnice office, paid 160-180 PLN/h + VAT.

Must have
- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering or Data Center operations
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise-class data center environments
- Very good knowledge of VMware vSphere administration, troubleshooting, lifecycle management, patching, upgrades and migrations
- Hands-on experience managing Dell enterprise infrastructure (PowerEdge servers, storage platforms, PowerScale, Data Domain, Avamar)
- Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication
- Very good knowledge of server technologies, virtualization, storage and backup
- Experience administering Windows Server and infrastructure services
- Good knowledge of SAN and NAS storage architectures
- Practical experience with enterprise backup and data recovery processes
- Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring platforms such as Zabbix
- Experience with security patching, vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening
