As our new Senior CAD Designer, you will be generating engineered drawings and 3D CAD models for proposals and submittals of Grundfos Engineered Systems (GES), translating project requirements into detailed fabrication-ready designs using SolidWorks. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Modular Systems team, you'll create impact by Collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, and System Assemblers to deliver custom-engineered packaged systems that meet the highest safety, structural, and client standards..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Generate General Arrangement, P&ID, structural, and pipe fabrication drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks for engineered skid systems
- Prepare, coordinate, and lead internal design reviews ensuring designs meet safety, structural, and client requirements
- Adapt and integrate 3rd party component designs into modular system layouts and create accurate Bills of Materials
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to compile installation, operation, and maintenance (IOM) packages
- Convert 3D models to STEP/BIM formats, maintain the drawing library, and perform deflection calculations on skid lifting lugs

Above all, you are a detail-oriented CAD professional with strong SolidWorks proficiency, a solid understanding of packaged skid systems and pipe/structural fabrication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
We would also imagine that you have:
