Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Developer with hands-on experience in AI-supported code refactoring to join a strategic project for a European EdTech leader. The client runs a large-scale self-learning mobile platform that has served 2M users to date, with around 100k monthly and 50k daily active users. You will help migrate the platform from a PHP/Laravel, SQL-heavy application to a headless React + Node.js architecture with a fast database, using AI tooling to speed up the process. At the core of the role is AI-driven discovery, i.e. uncovering requirements straight from legacy code and database schemas, and building MCP servers that plug AI agents into the tech stack and SDLC workflow. A key part of the work is the automated migration of learning content, so that learners keep a seamless experience throughout the transition. You will also take part in client meetings, so communication skills matter as much as coding.
