About the Role
We're supporting a major enterprise technology programme seeking a Senior DevOps Automation Engineer to help drive automation, platform modernisation and engineering best practice across a complex environment.
This is a hands-on role requiring deep automation expertise, strong technical leadership capabilities and proven experience operating within IBM Z environments. You'll work closely with engineering teams to improve delivery pipelines, automate operational processes and drive DevOps maturity across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing automation solutions across enterprise platforms.
- Building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Driving DevOps best practices, governance and engineering standards.
- Developing automation using Ansible, Python and API integrations.
- Supporting platform modernisation and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers across delivery teams.
- Working closely with stakeholders to improve automation and release capabilities.
- Identifying opportunities to eliminate manual processes through automation.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years' experience in DevOps, Automation or Platform Engineering.
