Make an impact with us

At Milestone Systems, what you do matters. People are at the heart of everything we do, grounded in integrity, collaboration, strong relationships, and a curiosity that drives continuous learning. It is how we work together, learn from one another, embrace new perspectives, and create lasting impact.

In this role, you will help shape Milestone’s strategic direction and, equally importantly, turn strategy into action. You will lead our Strategy & Corporate Development team and work closely with senior leaders across the organization to drive some of our most important strategic and transformational priorities.

About the role

As Senior Director, Strategy & Corporate Development, you will lead Milestone’s work across corporate strategy, strategy execution, corporate development, strategic transformation, and global market and competitive intelligence.

You will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and leaders across the business to develop our strategic direction, provide insights that support key business decisions, and drive strategic and transformational priorities across the organization. You will report to the EVP, Strategy, Communications & Brand.

What makes this role particularly interesting is the combination of strategy, insight, transformation and execution. You will not only help define where Milestone is going, but also play a central role in mobilizing the organization around our priorities and driving the strategic initiatives and transformations that will get us there.

What you will do

• Lead Milestone’s corporate strategy development and the translation of strategy into clear priorities and execution.
• Drive selected strategic and transformational initiatives across the organization, creating alignment, structure and momentum from ambition through execution.
• Lead and develop a team of Strategy Managers and Market & Competitive Intelligence Managers, building strong capabilities across strategy, insights and execution.
• Own our global market and competitive intelligence agenda, ensuring leaders have relevant insights in-to markets, customers, competitors and industry developments to support strategic decision-making.
• Drive the strategic and commercial aspects of M&A, including assessing strategic relevance and fit, evaluating opportunities and leading commercial due diligence.
• Partner closely with ELT, SLT and functional leaders on strategic questions, transformation priorities, business opportunities and key decisions.
• Strengthen Milestone’s ability to turn strategic choices into action, helping leadership navigate com-plex, cross-functional change and maintain focus on the outcomes that matter most.

What you bring

We are looking for someone with:

• 5+ years of top-tier management consulting experience, ideally within strategy, transformation, corporate development or related areas.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex markets, competitive dynamics and business models.
• Experience leading complex strategic or transformational initiatives across an organization and bringing different functions and stakeholders together around a common outcome.
• Experience with M&A and corporate development, particularly strategic assessment and commercial due diligence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations and decisions.
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop and lead a team of experienced professionals.
• The confidence and credibility to work closely with senior executives while building strong relationships across different functions and levels of the organization.

How you will make a difference

You combine strategic thinking with a strong drive to make things happen. You are comfortable moving between big-picture questions and hands-on problem solving, and you know when further analysis adds value and when it is time to make a decision and move forward.

You are naturally collaborative, but also able to challenge thinking, bring an independent point of view and create clarity when questions are complex or ambiguous.

Meet the team

You’ll lead the Strategy & Corporate Development team, bringing together strategy, market and competitive intelligence, corporate development, and the leadership of key strategic initiatives. The team works across the organization and closely with senior leadership. We value curiosity, sharp analysis, collaboration and, importantly, the ability to turn strategic choices into tangible progress.

How we support you

At Milestone, we want you to have the opportunity to do meaningful work, develop your skills and grow your career.

• Individual development plans aligned with your career goals
• Access to training, learning resources, and certifications
• Flexible working arrangements
• Supportive leadership and regular feedback
• Opportunities for cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration
• Social activities and spaces to connect with colleagues

Ready to make an impact?

If you’re excited about shaping strategy, turning it into action and driving some of the most important strategic and transformational priorities across a global organization, we’d love to hear from you.
