Senior Dynamics 365 CRM & Power Platform Developer

Senior Dynamics 365 CRM & Power Platform Developer£50,000 - £70,000 + 10% Bonus Remote with occasional Stoke-on-Trent visits, anticipated around once a month

You’ve delivered Dynamics solutions for different businesses. What would you do with long-term ownership of one?

You know how to uncover requirements, challenge a brief and build something that works. You’ve also seen enough systems to understand which decisions stand the test of time.

Now you’d like the opportunity to put that experience into practice within one business.

Joining an established, growing engineering company, you’ll help shape the development of a heavily customised Dynamics platform. CRM and Sales sit at its core, with connected processes spanning purchasing, invoicing, labour recording and finance.

You’ll get to understand the business properly, build relationships with its users and have a direct say in how the system evolves.

What’s in it for you?

• £50,000 - £70,000 salary + 10% bonus
• Remote working: Occasional visits to Stoke-on-Trent, anticipated around once a month, with the arrangement to be agreed.
• Ownership and influence: Help guide development priorities and the longer-term technical direction.
• Time to understand the platform: A substantial onboarding period to learn how it works and why it was built that way.
• Specialist support: An established Dynamics partner will remain involved, sharing knowledge and supporting complex changes.
• Long-term progression: Scope to take on broader responsibility and potentially lead the small team as the current systems lead steps back.

What you’ll do

You’ll combine hands-on development with practical advice on how the business should improve its systems.

That includes:

• Developing and customising Dynamics 365 CRM, particularly Sales functionality.
• Building and improving Power Apps, Power Automate flows and Dataverse solutions.
• Reviewing older workflows and moving suitable processes to cloud flows.
• Developing API integrations and custom connectors across connected applications and Microsoft 365 services.
• Working directly with stakeholders to understand problems and recommend solutions.
• Troubleshooting issues, improving performance and simplifying the user experience.
• Testing, documenting and deploying changes with security and data protection in mind.

This is an established, business-critical environment. Understanding the impact of a change matters as much as knowing how to build it.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have substantial hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CRM and Sales, supported by strong Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse skills.

Ideally, you’ll come from a consultancy or Microsoft Partner, having delivered solutions for multiple external customers. You’ll bring that breadth of experience in-house to help guide decisions as well as deliver the work.

You’ll also need:

• Experience with APIs, integrations and custom connectors.
• Relevant scripting skills, such as JavaScript and Power Fx.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Online and wider Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Confidence gathering requirements, explaining recommendations and working independently.
