Senior Engineering Manager
Lead the compliance & finance platform POD — KSA & UAE integrations, ZATCA, AI-first
About Valeo Health
Valeo Health is a preventive healthcare and wellness platform operating across Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), offering diagnostics, teleconsultation, AI-driven health insights, supplements, and care programs. We are building AI-first, compliant, and scalable healthcare
platforms that handle sensitive health data while delivering reliable, high-quality customer experiences across geographies.
Role Overview
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the POD that builds and operates Valeo's compliance and finance platforms across KSA and the UAE. Your POD owns the integrations that keep Valeo legal and running — connecting to national health data exchanges (NABIDH, Malaffi,
Riayati, NPHIES) and to Saudi Arabia's ZATCA e-invoicing (Fatoora) — end to end, from design and build through certification, go-live, and ongoing operation.
This is a backend- and integration-heavy role where correctness is non-negotiable — regulators, auditors, and patients depend on it. Driving AI adoption is a must: you will build AI into the platforms and roll out AI-assisted engineering across the team, while holding an uncompromising bar on data privacy and security (HIPAA, ISO 27001, UAE PDPL, KSA PDPL).
The Mindset We Hire For
These three traits matter more than any specific technology on your CV. If they don't describe you, this is not the right role.
- Ownership. You don't escalate problems — you bring solutions. When a regulatory deadline or an integration is at risk, you own it end to end until it's resolved.
- Deliver Results. You measure your POD in systems shipped, integrations certified, and reliability improved — not stand-ups attended.
- AI-Forward & Quick to Learn. You actively adopt AI tools, get productive fast in unfamiliar regulatory domains, and bring AI into your team's workflow without compromising compliance.
What We Expect from Our Engineering Managersa. Own Delivery & Execution
- Own end-to-end delivery of compliance and finance integration platforms through a POD model.
- Translate dense regulatory and tax requirements into clear technical designs and execution plans.
- Balance speed, quality, reliability, and compliance — and know where there is zero tolerance for error.
b. Build Reliable Regulatory & Finance Integrations
- Deliver and operate integrations with UAE health exchanges (NABIDH, Malaffi, Riayati) and KSA NPHIES, using HL7 / FHIR.
