Senior Flutter Developer (m/f/d)*

You want your passion for outstanding mobile experiences to give patients access to treatment around the clock, not just during pharmacy or doctor’s office opening hours? Then join Bloomwell. We are one of the leading health tech companies in medical cannabis, with the mission to make access to therapy as simple as possible for patients. Digital, patient centric and fast growing.
As Senior Flutter Developer you maintain and improve our user app for iOS, Android and Web, the cross platform product that connects patients, doctors and our care teams throughout the entire treatment journey. You work closely with Product, Design and Engineering to keep the app intuitive, accessible and reliable for users from very different backgrounds. You work AI native, take full ownership of your domain, and make sure that what you ship actually improves the patient experience, not just closes a ticket

• Maintain and improve our user app for iOS, Android and Web, built with Flutter
• Design and implement new features end to end, from UI down to state management, dependency injection and modularization
• Build and maintain the app’s networking, offline capabilities, authentication and platform integrations
• Write automated tests and keep our CI/CD, release automation and monitoring healthy as a natural part of your workflow
• Integrate REST APIs, push notifications, analytics, feature flags, crash reporting and third party SDKs
• Use AI coding assistants and agents as a core part of your toolbox, to move faster and improve code quality
• Shape our Flutter architecture, coding standards and engineering culture together with the team
• Work closely with Product, Design and QA to validate solutions with real user feedback and iterate instead of chasing perfection
• Dive into backend services, APIs or native platform code whenever the problem requires it

The position is initially limited to 18 months. This is in accordance with our internal governance and planning principles, under which we structure employment relationships for a defined period of time initially. If performance is as expected, there is generally the prospect of a long-term continuation of the employment relationship. A possible extension will be discussed well in advance of the end of the fixed-term period.

• Extensive experience building and maintaining production grade Flutter applications, with deep knowledge of Dart and modern Flutter architecture (state management, dependency injection, modularization, testing, performance)
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture beyond the UI layer, including networking, offline capabilities, security, authentication, platform integrations, accessibility and app lifecycle management
• Automated testing, CI/CD, localization, monitoring, release automation and code reviews are simply part of how you build software
• AI native, you use modern LLMs, coding agents and AI powered workflows daily to increase delivery speed, improve code quality and support architecture, testing and debugging
• Ownership mentality, you make pragmatic technical decisions that maximize customer value while minimizing complexity and operational risk
• Engineer first, you’re comfortable diving into backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure or native platform integrations whenever the problem requires it
• Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication flows, push notifications, analytics, feature flags, crash reporting and third party SDKs
• Stakeholder centric, you enjoy understanding product problems together with Product, Design and QA before jumping into implementation
• Fluent German and English, you work closely with our Frankfurt based team on site
• Willingness to work from our Frankfurt office three days a week, with the rest remote

You get to actively shape things from day one, in a growing market, with flat hierarchies and real room to decide. No slow moving structures, just fast paths and an open culture where your ideas count.
This is what you can expect:

• Ownership from day one with a direct line to management
• Flexible working hours and hybrid work, three days a week on site in our Frankfurt office, the rest remote
• eGym Wellpass for health and fitness
• Job-Bike
• Fresh fruit, snacks and drinks in our Frankfurt office near the Messe
• Regular team events and a vibrant company culture
