About The OpportunityWe are looking for aSenior Frontend Developerwith strong expertise inReact and Next.jsto design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.In this role, you will take ownership of frontend architecture and technical decisions, contribute to performance and code quality initiatives, and help establish engineering best practices. You will also collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver accessible, reliable, and user-focused experiences.The role requires hands‑on experience withAI-assisted development tools, including the ability to evaluate, validate, and improve AI-generated code with a strong focus on quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production‑grade applications using React and Next.js.
- Make architectural decisions related to component design, state management, data flow, rendering strategies, and application structure.
- Optimize frontend performance, including Core Web Vitals, bundle size, rendering strategies, and caching.
- Build reusable, accessible, and well‑tested components based on Figma designs and established design systems.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST and/or GraphQL APIs, including authentication, error handling, and loading states.
- Conduct code reviews focused on quality, scalability, accessibility, security, and maintainability.
- Use AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT to accelerate development while critically reviewing and validating generated code.
- Establish and promote frontend testing practices using unit, integration, and E2E testing.
- Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Partner with product managers and designers to define features, estimate effort, and evaluate technical trade‑offs.
- Stay current with the React and Next.js ecosystem and evaluate new technologies, libraries, and AI‑assisted development workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
