About the Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer - AI Platform to join the Seekr team and help drive our front-end initiatives forward. We have an established technical direction and a modern stack (including Next.js), and we need a seasoned developer who can jump in, contribute high-quality code, and offer smart perspectives on how we evolve. In this role, you will work closely with our Engineering Lead to refine our applications, ensuring they are performant, scalable, and built to last.
The Impact:
At Seekr, we move fast and value "open thinkers"—engineers who can pivot quickly as product needs evolve. From day one, you’ll be an active contributor in a 'no bystanders' environment, partnering with ML Engineers, Back-end, and DevOps peers to rapidly iterate on features and deploy performance-tuned web applications at scale. You will have a significant voice in how we build, helping us delight millions of users worldwide while sharpening your own expertise.
You’ll be building tools for a diverse user base, including government agencies, data center companies, and SMBs. Internally, your primary "customers" are our QA team—who are the first to put your work to the test—and our Product Design team, with whom you’ll collaborate constantly to ensure their vision is perfectly embodied in the code.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with React and a deep working knowledge of its principles and paradigms, including components, hooks, Next.js, and the React lifecycle.
- Proficient in using AI Coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/React infrastructure, including Node and NPM.
- Experience consuming JSON APIs and creating lightning-fast web experiences at scale.
- Working knowledge of automated testing principles and practices.
- Strong collaborative skills, working well with back-end and DevOps engineers to create APIs and server deployments.
- Agile mindset, with experience in Scrum, CI/CD, and Git.
The following experience is a plus:
- Tailwind, or other CSS framework
- Atlassian tool usage such as JIRA or Confluence
