Skills
Must have
- Strong experience building, testing, and scaling modern web applications using React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
- Clean component architecture and developing design systems that work across multiple platforms
- Comfortable creating data visualisations using tools such as D3
- Solid understanding of frontend build tools (such as Webpack or Babel) and foundational familiarity with backend APIs (such as Node.js)
- Exposure to modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deployment pipelines

About the role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Faculty, you will partner with cross-functional delivery teams in to transform cutting-edge AI and data science models into intuitive, impactful client-facing software.
You will champion modern frontend engineering practices, mentor fellow engineers, and shape our growing frontend community. In this role, you will have the autonomy to solve complex, real-world challenges through elegant interfaces, driving innovation from concept through to deployment in high-stakes environments.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and scaling resilient, client-facing web applications that bring complex machine learning insights to life.
- Collaborating closely with data scientists, designers, and engineers across the product lifecycle to design intuitive user experiences.
- Architecting and maintaining reusable design systems and component libraries to accelerate development across the company.
- Establishing and maintaining robust CI/CD, development, and deployment workflows alongside modern cloud infrastructure.
