Full description
Senior Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer
District Partners is supporting an established professional services business advising companies from early growth through global scale. The engineering opportunity sits where cloud infrastructure meets application delivery, with automation connecting the two. You’ll build that connection through deployment pipelines, infrastructure code and practical guidance on cloud design.
Why You’ll Actually Care
If you enjoy building systems and having a voice in how they evolve, this role offers both. Your work will span the path from provisioning cloud resources to deploying the applications that depend on them. You’ll collaborate with infrastructure and application teams, bringing technical recommendations into working solutions. The appeal is the combination of hands-on depth, influence across teams and remote flexibility.
The Basics
The business advises organizations bringing new ideas to market and navigating growth. Its clients range from emerging ventures to established enterprises, creating a broad business for its internal technology team to support. This role helps provide the cloud services and delivery practices behind that work.
What You’ll Be Owning
- Azure DevOps pipelines that make application delivery repeatable and easier to manage.
- Terraform code that keeps infrastructure provisioning consistent.
- Integration between application workflows, Azure infrastructure and Microsoft services.
- Cloud solutions that balance performance and cost while meeting internal security policies and risk requirements.
- Technology roadmaps that anticipate capacity needs and future upgrades.
- Root-cause fixes and documentation that help prevent recurring service interruptions.
The Environment
You’ll work across infrastructure and application teams in a Microsoft-focused cloud environment. The scope connects deployment engineering with broader cloud decisions, including how services integrate and how the environment evolves. Stakeholder engagement is central: bring a white-glove service approach, communicate proactively and follow through with care.
What You Bring To The Table
- 5+ years in cloud administration or comparable infrastructure engineering.
- 3+ years each designing and managing Azure environments, working with Azure DevOps/CI/CD and using Terraform.
- Strong Microsoft cloud knowledge and experience connecting application delivery with infrastructure.
- Executive presence and superb stakeholder engagement skills, with the credibility to guide discussions and build trust.
