Skills
Must have
- 5+ years of commercial Java development, with recent experience building application features and business logic for a product
- Strong core Java fundamentals: OO design, collections, exceptions, immutability, concurrency basics
- Solid Spring Boot experience across MVC, Data JPA/Hibernate and Spring Security
- Good SQL skills: schema design, indexes, transactions, diagnosing slow queries (PostgreSQL ideal)
- Developer-level AWS experience, understanding how the application runs in the cloud
- Clear understanding of security best practice
- Experience owning features from requirement through to production
