Use Java and REST APIs to build enterprise platform capabilities as a Senior Full Stack Developer working five days onsite. Your work spans frontend, backend, integration, and data-access layers.
This senior position develops secure, scalable, observable, and maintainable applications for multiple government programs. You will build microservices, reusable platform services, and service-specific connections. The work includes databases, workflows, identity, payments, notifications, and documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Java-based microservices and RESTful web services
Build frontend, backend, workflow, integration, and data-access components
Create automated unit, integration, API, database, and user-interface tests
Participate in design walkthroughs, estimates, code reviews, and planning
Provide production support and troubleshoot technical problems
Requirements:
Ten or more years developing large-scale, multi-client web applications
Extensive Java experience with Oracle, SQL, or relational databases
Significant experience with REST APIs and microservice architecture
Experience with JSON Web Tokens, OAuth 2.0, and SSL certificates
Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable development tools
